Awhile back, I wrote in this thread about finding and testing what I thought was a Foam Cure equivalent glue I picked up at Dollar Tree.
I have flown over 100 flights each on the two Sukhois and to date over 40 flights on the F-22. I have been really thrashing these planes around evaluating their characteristics and really having fun with them, so I certainly have not been gentle to them :).
I am very pleased to report that in all aspects, building, sanding and thus far durability, this Craft Medley glue has performed exactly the same as Foam Cure. On average I used about two thirds of a bottle of the Craft Medley glue per plane, I used two bottles to build these three. Some planes depending on their build complexity like the Su-35 will use more, the two RC Powers planes are fairly simple builds, so they use less.
I am very pleased with this product, it's quality, durability, price and the fact I can get it locally. My Dollar Tree store is not the fastest to resupply, so when they have it in stock, I pick up a couple of bottles to always have some on hand. I have a couple bottles that are six months old with the lid on tightly and the glue has not lost any of it's viscosity, so hopefully it will stay ready to use in the bottle for awhile.
