During my most recent build of the V4 prototype of Stephan's amazing Mig-FA, I shot a step by step video demonstrating a technique I have used on a couple planes now to help shape the nose quickly, accurately and with no pins. This same technique will also work for the Mig-35 and other score and fold park jets that have similar nose construction processes.
We hope to have the Mig-FA available for release by the end of April 2015. If you are interested, you can find more info about this very cool looking and flying concept stealth park jet here.
You may not necessarily be interested in the full process I go through to fill, sand and finish my park jet noses, the new technique I have been using involving judicious use of hot glue is in the very first part of the video.
If you have any questions, please post them on the video or here on the blog so that others can share in the information. Also, you can always e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope it is of some help to you.
