I realized I forgot to post about the changes made to the list on November 23rd, so I will include those updates here as well.
On November 23rd, I removed the Deal Extreme 2212/6 2700 Kv motors from the "hot" category on the parts list. I had heard from three seperate people who purchased this motor from Deal Extreme and had very bad performance from it. The last time I ordered that motor was almost two years ago, so I suspect either Deal Extreme has a bad bunch of motors or what is being sold at the link we had posted was not a 2212/6 2700 Kv motor. I have tried three times to get in touch with Deal Extreme through their "contact robot" with no luck, so I'm not sure I will buy any motors from them any time soon :/.
I have recieved, bench and field tested another motor from Fasttech, which you can read about at this link. Fortunately, thus far it is performing as this type of motor should. You can read about and purchase the motor if you choose to do so, I will hold off and do some more durability testing before listing it on our website as a recommended motor since if it packs it in before 50 flights, it isn't worth ordering :/
I have added a new motor in the "medium" category, the DYS BE2208/7 2600 Kv motor which is "medium" only with the Master Airscrew 6x4x3 prop from my testing, but a good, efficient motor with the right prop. You can read more about that motor and how it compares to the Gear Best 2212/5T 2700 motor that was already in that category at this link.
In the accessories category, I added a link to 3.0mm prop adapters for the DYS motor. The data is confusing when you go to the Banggood website, but I found the motor has a 3.0 mm shaft, so a 3.17 prop adapter will not tighten on the shaft.
